If you’re doing “Predictive Surveys” (really “Predictive Models”) then you owe it to yourself to survey your location and make sure your walls are what you think they are.

If someone is “designing” you a WLAN and they don’t take the time to gather as much real data from the deployment site - you more than likely not going to like the results.

For a good primer on how to survey for wall attenuation (loss) to provide accurate data for predictive models check out @DevinAkin’s blog.
