“Great Wi-Fi in the bathrooms, just put it in the vents to get the smell out of them…Easy and cheap to install.”
THE BAD-FI
My Wi-Fi is still growing…just add water.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Massive channel overlap. My eyes are burning!
Why? Does. This. Still. Happen?
Ran out of external APs?

Wow, I thought THIS was a one-time thing.
I guess I was wrong.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯, I guess that’s one way to obscure you WLAN!
And keep pretty much ANYONE from connecting at all.

Can’t think of worse Fi.

UPDATE: Thursday, March 5, 2015 @ 11:03 PM
Just got back from the Aruba Atmosphere Conference and I CAN think of worse Fi. I’m not gonna say that I’m convinced this merger is the best thing for Aruba, but after hearing what they had to say I can say I am… cautiously optimistic.
I’ll leave this up because it’s still funny. :-) I trust Aruba’s leadership, but HP has not shown itself not to be worthy of the same. So, let’s hope Aruba can pull this thing off and come out better for it at the end. I want nothing more than to see a successful and innovative Aruba.

Drives me crazy how often I see this. Do people think the omni-directional antennas are like lasers that you aim where you want coverage? Clearly.

The customer clearly didn’t want the AP’s to be visual….

Sigh. APs in a metal box… again.

Wow, this is definitely a first for me. Double the pleasure, I guess.
Another perfect exmple of just because you can’t “see” RF doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I thought seeing two APs rigth next to each other was bad, two APs stacked on each other? So much worse.
If it’s good to have a client hear 2-3 APs at -67dBm or less, surely hearing 29 is even better! @HeyEddie pic.twitter.com/fWQg8Ht2Zp

I don’t even know how this is possible. Are they all on a table? Is this like a 12ft circle with directional antennas? This are seriously crazy coo coo numbers.

Fair to say that it wasn’t exactly great…

Protect that AP at all costs!
C'mon, by now you should know what’s going on here. AP protected by a nice wire mesh, otherwise know as a friggin’ Faraday cage!
And don’t get me started on that fine antenna placement…
Dipole omni’s should be pointing down! (Couldn’t help it.)
Shoot me now, please.
Going over my notes one last time before CWDP exam tomorrow. Then on to CWSP!
Hopefully, this will keep me from the Bad-Fi! 😁 (at The Wild Goose Meeting House)
Wait, we were supposed to buy mounting hardware?

This AP ended up getting sealed into the wall with no access hatch.
